Nico Fidenco

Nico Fidenco was born on January 24, 1933 in Rome, Lazio, Italy as Domenico Colarossi.

As a singer he enjoyed great popularity since 1960, the year he recorded  "What a sky" ("Su Nel Cielo" , from Francesco Maselli's I Delfini) . Fidenco was already working as pianist and arranger at Italian RCA  in Rome, where he was introduced by Franco Migliacci. His songs were performed by RCA artists.

After having cut down on recording songs, Fidenco began to deal again with film-scores, composing for genre films ranging from spaghetti westerns (the first was ALL OMBRA DI UNA COLT) to erotic films such as LA STRANA LEGGE DEL DR. MEGA(1972), LA RAGAZZINA (1975) IMMAGINI DI UN CONVENTO (1979) and the Black Emanuelle series.
