(This Time I'll Make You Rich) by Sante Maria Romitelli makes its CD debut .Digitally remastered and in full stereo.The score is, as they say, "all over the map", but Romitelli pulls it off with great skill - for instance the jazz/blues infused title track, a lush romantic piece for strings and woodwind featuring Edda Dell'Orso (You and I), a frolicsome ethnic march (Tema di Joe), a brazenly swinging jazz romp (Gimme Time) as well as a bit of pseudo pop-classicism not unlike the work of maestro Ennio Morricone (Waltz For Two). Presented in a 6-page digipak with original artwork, film stills and extensive liner notes by John Bender, the CD is a worthy example of this underrated composer's noble diligence and full command of the medium.
