The bounty hunter Miller Colt (Guy Madison) has returned to the town of Tucson, much to the dismay of Sheriff 'Dammit' Donovan (Richard Harrison). Only now, 'Reverend' Colt is a man of the cloth who no longer is interested in hunting men for a price.
When the local bank is robbed by a band of outlaws shortly after his arrival, Colt is mistakenly arrested and jailed for the crime. Donovan is willing to believe and 'pardon' Colt under one condition: that Colt hunts down the thieves and brings them and the stolen money back to town. But when the good reverend finds himself trapped in an abandoned fort with seven other hapless travelers and surrounded on all sides for the outlaw gang he's sworn to bring....
Directed on a painfully low budget by Spanish horror talent Leon Klimovsky (although Richard Harrison claims in an interview with Bill Connoly and Tom Betts that the film was directed by Marino Girolami aka Frank Martin) with a unique musical score by Lady Park, REVEREND COLT is an often heard of but seldom seen Spaghetti Western treat!
