Django il Bastardo

In the USA during the Civil War three southern officers commit treason by helping the Yankees get through a pass, which they had to defend with their regiment. All but one soldier, Django, are killed in action. After fifteen years Django returns to avenge his slaughtered friends and kill the three officers.

This is the best Corbucci' s Django sequel ever and it' s probably the masterpiece of director Sergio Garrone, here in a state of grace.

A perfect example of gothic western.
