GDM Music presents the soundtrack by Ennio Morricone for the 1969 movie “Gli intoccabili” (aka “Machine Gun McCain) directed by Giuliano Montaldo and starring noted actors like John Cassavetes, Britt Ekland ,Peter Falk, Gena Rowlands. For a dramatic plot about bandits placed in a corrupted and full of dangers Las Vegas, Morricone has written lovely lounge style themes for the scenes in casino and night clubs alternated to extremely dramatic and dissonant themes. The OST features the beat flavour main theme “La ballata di Hank McCain” performed by Jackie Lynton. For this lengthy CD the original session stereo master tapes have been used and besides the material previously issued on the original 33 rpm LP, also inedit tracks are contained like the very rare “off vocal” versions of the “La ballata di Hank McCain” only recently discovered.
